Trio Set of Three Arts Presents 4th Track of 'Lovestruck'—This Time Featuring the Much-Awaited Shaan in "Ek Ladki Ne"
Mumbai — Birthdays are traditionally marked by jubilation, lighthearted celebration, and festive cheer. Yet, on his special day, legendary Indian playback singer Shaan chose a path of artistic depth over joyous revelry, offering his fans a bittersweet piece of his heart instead.
Presented under the banner of Trio Set of Three Arts, the fourth track from the critically acclaimed musical project Lovestruck, titled "Ek Ladki Ne," brings listeners the much-anticipated, soulful vocals of Shaan. A poignant and melancholic ghazal capturing the silent agony of lost love, this heartbreak ballad serves as an exquisite birthday treat for Shaan’s global legion of admirers and true music connoisseurs—a poetic testament to an icon whose voice continues to heal through every shade of emotion.
Produced by Sheeba Lateef and directed by Altamash Abbas, Lovestruck is an ambitious nine-track compilation album distributed worldwide by Shemaroo Entertainment (Shemaroo Musical Maestros). Following the success of its first three tracks, this fourth release presented by Trio Set of Three Arts has elevated the album's reach, striking a deep chord with audiences and ghazal purists alike.

The Mastery of Shaan: A Velvet Voice Beyond Boundaries
For over two decades, Shaan’s luminous vocals have defined generations of Indian music. Widely celebrated for his euphoric pop anthems, infectious energy, and iconic Bollywood romantic tracks, Shaan has long been synonymous with joy and warmth. Yet, "Ek Ladki Ne" serves as a breathtaking reminder of his profound, multidimensional artistry.
In this track, Shaan seamlessly steps out of his commercial comfort zone into the delicate, demanding realm of classical ghazal renditions. With a voice that carries the softness of velvet and the weight of genuine sorrow, he brings a deep, contemplative resonance to every syllable. His performance proves that no matter the genre, Shaan possesses the rare ability to internalize grief and translate it into pure, cathartic art.

A Poetic Exploration of Delusion and Heartbreak
"Ek Ladki Ne" dives into the psychological depths of sorrow, unfulfilled vows, and creative obsession. The track revolves around a tragic central concept:
A struggling young poet loses his grip on reality as he drafts a ghazal about his heartbreak, convincing himself that his lost love will return. He remains oblivious to the stark truth—she didn't leave him out of betrayal, but because she drowned in the unbearable weight of his grand, unkept promises.
Penning this poignant dilemma, lyricist Kashif Raza crafts verses that echo through the listener’s soul:
Ek ladki ne agar dil na dukhaya hota,
Mujhko taqdeer ne shayar na banaya hota.
Roz kehta tha ki mar jaunga chahat mein teri,
Itna saccha tha to phir mar ke dikhaya hota.
Main yaqeen uski wafaaon ka bhi karta lekin,
Uske hothon pe mera naam to aaya hota.
Composer Prem Murti weaves these melancholic verses into an intricate musical tapestry, expertly arranging traditional instruments—sitar, tabla, and harmonium—alongside rich orchestral violin and acoustic guitar textures.

Uncompromising Production Values at Rampur Raza Library
In an era where long-form music albums and narrative-driven music videos are increasingly rare, Trio Set of Three Arts' Lovestruck sets a new benchmark for production scale and artistic intent.
The visual narrative of "Ek Ladki Ne" is filmed within the majestic and historic corridors of the Rampur Raza Library. The venue's breathtaking architectural grandeur adds an irreplaceable layer of depth, heritage, and quiet dignity to the story. Supported by high-end cinematography and performances by Sheeba Lateef, Altamash Abbas, and Shaan himself, the visual presentation mirrors the high artistic standards of the audio production.
